(Greenwood, NE) -- An investigation is underway after one person was killed in a weekend crash on Interstate 80.
The Nebraska State Patrol say the crash was reported around 2:30 Saturday afternoon on westbound I-80 near Greenwood. Witness told troopers that an SUV veered off the interstate and crashed into a creek.
Medics tried to rescue the driver but they were pronounced dead at the scene. No other details have nee provided at this time and the driver has not been identified.
