Some tense moments Monday morning near 22nd and Pierce Streets in southeast Omaha as police were on high alert searching for two men, who reportedly were armed.
When officers showed up, 9-1-1 radio transmissions indicated the two men took off and led police on a brief foot pursuit that had officers communicating through their portable radios.
Reports indicate at least one person was eventually tased and taken into custody after reportedly trying to throw a gun in a backyard.
There were no reports of injuries.
