City of Council Bluffs trash pickups are running earlier than usual this week because of the late Spring heat wave to try and give the sanitation workers a break in the heat.
Crews will start their routes at 6 a.m, and the City is asking people to put their trash carts out earlier in the day, so they can get a jump on completing their routes.
