In an update to an earlier story, Omaha Police say a man, who was shot around two a.m. while walking alone near 33rd and Hartman Avenue, has died at the hospital from his wounds.
His name has not been released.
Police say the gunshots came from a vehicle.
Omaha Police originally responded to that area on a "ShotSpotter" technology alert of gunshots.
Officers arrived and located the victim, who had been struck by the gunfire.
Officers attempted C-P-R until Omaha Fire Department paramedics arrived to contiue the resuscitation efforts.
This is the fourth shooting death in that part of Omaha in the last week.
