Police Wednesday morning say 14-year-old Desmond Harrison has died.
Investigators say he was rushed from 18th and Binney Streets around seven Tuesday evening in extremely critical condition with C-P-R in progress.
Police say officers originally responded after a "ShotSpotter" technology alert of numerous gunshots in the area.
The call was then upgraded by 9-1-1 dispatchers to a shooting with one victim.
About an hour earlier, police say three people were taken to a hospital from a traffic crash scene at 31st and Grand Avenues.
Investigators say one person was in critical, two others in serious condition;
Police say one person had been shot.
