The Number One overall seed Arkansas Razorbacks, needed a desperate, two-out rally in the eighth inning, to defeat Nebraska 6-2 Monday night in the Fayetteville Regional.
With the win at their Baum-Walker Stadium, the Hogs advance to the NCAA Super Regionals later this week on the "Road to Omaha" and the College World Series.
The Huskers, who pushed Arkansas into the seventh and deciding game, had a 2-0 lead before Razorbacks' closer Kevin Kopps came on to toss seven shutout innings of relief to improve to 12-0 on the season.
In a break out year for coach WIll Bolt and the Big Red, Nebraska finished the 2021 season with a 34-14 record and won the Big Ten Championship.
