OPD releases more details about shooting suspects accused of killing teens

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police are releasing more details about the two suspects accused

Investigators believe 17 year old Lerajai Key and 16 year old Terrance Moore are involved in the homicides of 17 year olds Javondre McIntosh and Jiaquan Williams. McIntosh and Williams were shot in the area of 29th and Bristol Thursday night. Williams died shortly after arriving at Nebraska Medicine on Thursday. McIntosh died on Saturday.

OPD says both Key and Moore are on the run, and have been for months. Police say Moore left the Nebraska probation office’s radar in February, the same day he was supposed to start at a school for at-risk teens in Arizona. Investigators say Key skipped juvenile court over a charge of defacing a firearm.

OPD are asking the public for help in their search for Key and Moore. Police said Moore is the suspected shooter, and that Key is wanted for accessory to murder. Investigators have also been trying to track down a possible suspect vehicle that was seen Thursday in the area of the shooting. The vehicle appears to be a 2017 or 2018 model Ford Escape SUV.

Anyone with information about the suspects or their vehicle is urged to contact Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP (7867) at p3tips.com or via the P3 Tips mobile app.
