(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo is home to the best zoo exhibit in North america.
On Friday, the zoo's Asian Highlands was named the Best Zoo Exhibit in North America in 2021 USA TODAY 10 Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards. The Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park was also named as the Best Wildlife Park in North America by USA TODAY readers.
Although Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium didn't get first place, it did rank near the top of the leader board, coming in as the third “Best Zoo” in the country. Voting was open to the public and took place through USA Today's website through the month of May.
