The search for 11-year old Ryan Larsen continues.
"We're working in certain areas, and we're getting specific in a couple areas," La Vista Police Chief Bob Lausten told Gary Sadlemyer Friday morning on Newsradio 1110 KFAB. "We hope to find Ryan hopefully today obviously, and that's where we are going from here."
The young man has autism, and there has been a focus on the "Walnut Creek Recreation Area" in Papillion.
"We know that autistic children are attracted to water," Lausten said. "We know that's an area he's been; We had community people on Wednesday out there, and we really wanted to do a really closer look."
Police ask people to call 9-1-1 if they have information on the child; do not approach him out of fear of scaring him.
