Three teens arrested following Benson robbery

(Omaha, NE) -- Three teenagers are arrested following a Benson robbery.

Omaha Police say just before 2:00 Wednesday morning, officers were called to the S&M Arcade near 60th and Maple for a reported robbery. Investigators say officers spoke with employees who said that five Asian males entered the business and demanded money. Police say one of the suspects fired a gun before the suspects took money and fled eastbound on Maple Street in a dark SUV.

OPD says about a half an hour later, officers located three of the suspects near 43rd and Cuming Street. Investigators say two of the robbery suspects are still at large.

The following arrests have been made:

  • 15 year old male booked at the Douglas County Youth Center for robbery and obstructing a peace officer.
  • 16 year old male booked for robbery, use of a weapon to commit a felony, attempted 1st-degree assault, discharging a firearm at an occupied dwelling, possession of a handgun by a minor and obstructing a peace officer.
  • 16 year old male booked for robbery, possession of THC and obstructing a peace officer.
