$100,000 bond set for local youth soccer coach accused of child enticement

(Sarpy County, NE) -- Bond is set for an Omaha metro area youth soccer coach accused of child enticement.

On Tuesday, a Sarpy County judge set bail at $100,000 for 47 year old Kyle Marek, who was arrested on Monday. Sarpy County investigators say the arrest stems from electronic communications he reportedly sent to a minor. During court, Marek was also ordered to have no contact with anyone ages 18 and younger outside those in his own household.

If convicted, the felony charge carries a mandatory minimum three-year sentence and a maximum of 50 years. Marek is a soccer coach for Gretna Elite Academy and an assistant soccer coach for Papillion La Vista Community Schools.
