Two men injured in separate Thursday night cuttings

(Omaha, NE) -- Two men are injured in separate Thursday night cuttings.

Omaha Police say the first one was reported near 24th and Elm just after 6:30. Initial reports show that 33 year old Gerardo Del-Angel was cut on his face and neck with a box cutter. Investigators say 31 year old Francisco Lopez-Rojas was arrested for 2nd Degree Felony Assault and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony. A second man, 58 year old Rogelio Chavez-Cervantes, was arrested on a charge of Accessory to a Felony in connection to the cutting.

Another cutting was reported just before 10:30 near 24th and Pinkney when 53 year old Dwayne Williams reported that he was cut on his head by his brother.

Both Del-Angel and Williams were taken to local hospitals with non life-threatening injuries.
