(Omaha, NE) -- A motorcycle is to blame for an early morning fire in eastern Omaha.
The Omaha Fire Department says crews were called to a home near 11th and Dorcas just after midnight Friday morning. OFD says as crews approached the house, they could see light smoke coming from soffit of the roof. Investigators say the fire was started after a running motorcycle, that was being worked on, accidentally tipped over onto the wall of the house. They say the fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries reported.
Fire investigators say the cause was determined to be accidental due to negligence of the operator of the motorcycle, who lost control of the motorcycle while performing maintenance on the bike.
