Warmer days are on the way into the weekend and early May, according to 6 News' "First Alert" Meteorologist Rusty Lord, who says highs in the 80's start Friday and should continue through Sunday.
That’s before a cold front moves through with a chance of storms.
The exact timing of that front is still uncertain, but it appears late Sunday afternoon storms are possible.
It'll be breezy Thursday with a northwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the afternoon.
Winds could gust as high as 28 mph, according to the National Weather Service..
