COVID-19 testing required for UNL graduates to attend ceremony

(Lincoln, NE) -- University of Nebraska-Lincoln students graduating this Spring will have to get a COVID test before participating in in-person graduation ceremonies.

University leadership says graduates will have to receive a negative COVID-19 test 1-3 days prior to their commencement. Graduation ceremonies are being held in-person May 7th and 8th at Memorial Stadium and Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Graduates are required to get a test, regardless if they’ve been vaccinated. Face coverings and social distancing will also be required by all those in attendance. That includes both graduates and guests.

Questions regarding testing can be sent to the COVID-19 Testing Team at covid19@unl.edu.
