American Airlines to offer daily nonstop service from Omaha to New York

(Omaha, NE) -- People traveling between Omaha and New York City will have a new, nonstop flight option later this year.

American Airlines has announced that it will begin daily, nonstop service between Eppley Airfield and New York LaGuardia Airport beginning Tuesday, November 2nd. The schedule for the new service is as follows:

  • Omaha to New York
    • Depart: 7:15 AM
    • Arrive: 11:15 AM
  • New York to Omaha
    • Depart: 7:15 PM
    • Arrive: 9:41 PM

American will fly the new route with a two-class Embraer E-175 aircraft seating 76 passengers. New York will become the eighth nonstop destination American Airlines will serve from Omaha. American currently provides nonstop service from Omaha to Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, Philadelphia and Phoenix.

Flights will be available for purchase beginning Monday, April 26 through American Airlines’ website, www.aa.com.
