(Lincoln, NE) -- Husker football fans who want to get a sneak peek at the team will get the chance next week as the team opens up one of their practices to the public.

For the Huskers' April 17th practice at Memorial Stadium, 4,000 fans will be allowed in to watch. The practice will be free of charge, but fans will need to reserve tickets online before hand. Tickets will be released in waves on the following days:

  • Friday, April 9th
  • Monday, April 12th
  • Wednesday April 14th

The tickets will be released at 6:00 PM each of those days, and be reserved online here. The April 17th practice will be held from 2:15 PM - 4:45 PM. Fans will use Gates 3, 4 and 10, which open at 1:30 PM.

Limited seating will be available on the West side of Memorial Stadium and every third row will be open to allow for social distancing. Face coverings will also be required for fans in attendance. Fans can bring some food and non-alcoholic beverages into the stadium since concession stands will not be open.

If there is bad weather that day, and practices are moved inside, fans will not be allowed to watch the indoor practice.
