Colorado man arrested near Scottsbluff following road rage crash

(Scottsbluff, NE) -- A Colorado man is behind bars in Nebraska following what the Nebraska State Patrol calls a road rage crash.

The NSP says just before 5:30 MT Monday night, a Hyundai Santa Fe and Audi A4 were on Highway 92, west of Scottsbluff, when the driver of the Audi intentionally hit the Hyundai several times. Investigators say the Hyundai then rolled and came to a rest on its roof.

The state patrol says that the driver of the Audi, 31 year old Fabian Hernandez, of Fort Collins, Colorado, was arrested for willful reckless driving, 2nd degree assault, and violation of a protection order. Investigators say a protection order had previously been issued against Hernandez for one of the people in the Hyundai.

There were no serious injuries reported in the crash.
