Beneficial Rains May Back Off Wednesday

The rains are expected to lessen today as a low pressure system moves off to the Northeast.

Omaha National Weather Service meteorologist Paul Faiman tells KFAB Radio News it has helped with drought conditions.

Omaha has it's wettest-ever start to a year.

By this time last year, Eppley Field had just over three inches of rain, with 2020 being the third driest year on record.

The Natonal Weather Service issues a Flood Warning for Northwest Butler County, Nebraska until 1:00 p.m. Thursday.

County Emergency Management reports Clear Creek is running high;

Flooding of lowlands is happening or expected along Clear Creek to its confluence with the Platte.
