Weekend Omaha Jail Death Investigated

The Douglas County Corrections Director says 59-year-old Pah Leh was found unresponsive in his cell Sunday morning, and life-saving measures by Omaha Fire Department paramedics were unsuccessful.

Corrections says Leh had been in custody since Thursday booked on charges including terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Nebraska law mandates that a grand jury be impaneled to investigate whenever someone dies in custody or while being taken into custody by law enforcement.
