The Douglas County Health Department says the regular flu continues to be nearly non-existent during the time of the year its numbers usually go through the roof.
This time last year nearly 7-thousand cases had been reported.
This year only eight cases of influenza have been recorded.
Health experts continue to credit the massive focus on COVID-19 mitigation efforts.
