Police Arrest Woman In Omaha Assault Investigation

Omaha Police were called to a house near 42nd and Spaulding St. Monday night for a domestic disturbance.

Police say 67-year-old Carl Gunnels and 52-year-old Lisa Collins were in a verbal argument.

They accuse Collins of stabbing Gunnels with a kitchen knife when the argument intensified.

Officers took Collins into custody and booked her at Douglas County Corrections for felony domestic violence assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

They say Gunnels had a family member take him to a hospital for treatment.
