The Saunders County Sheriff's office says a man died and a woman was injured in the crash around 4 p.m. Sunday about a mile east of Cedar Bluffs on Nebraska Highway 109.
Investigators say a pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a Nebraska Department of Transportation road grader head-on.
The pickup driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and a passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries believed to be be non life-threatening.
There were snow conditions at the time of the crash.
Relatives have been notified, but the names of those involved have not been officially released.
