(Omaha, NE) -- Although it is cold in snowy in Omaha right now, Spring is just around the corner and that means the start of the Farmers Market season.
Applications are now available for vendors interested in participating in the 2021 Omaha Farmers Market. All season vendor applications are due by March 5th. Weekly and monthly applications are accepted throughout the market season.
Eligible vendors for the Omaha Farmers Market are people who sell locally produced products including vegetables, fruits, herbs, bedding plants, flowers, meats, baked goods, jams and jellies, condiments, organic foods, ethnic foods, crafts and much more within a 150-mile radius of the markets.
A virtual informational meeting has been set for Thursday, February 18th at 7 p.m. via Zoom. For information on how to attend the virtual meeting, visit www.omahafarmersmarket.org. Applications and additional information are also available on the website.
The 2021 Omaha Farmers Market will be held every Saturday, May 1 through October 9, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Old Market at the City Parking Garage at 11th and Jackson Street and every Sunday, May 2 through October 10 in Baxter Arena – Lot 26, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
