Council Bluffs to enforce odd-even parking ban following snow storm

(Council Bluffs, IA) -- The City of Council Bluffs says that an Odd-Even Parking Ban will go into effect at 12:00 am on Wednesday.

The city says the ban will remain in effect until impacted streets are plowed curb to curb. The Odd-Even Parking Ban applies only to streets where parking is allowed on both sides.

The city says the ban will begin with parking allowed on the odd numbered addressed side of the street on Wednesday, then on Thursday, parking will be allowed on the even numbered addressed side of the street.

During the Odd-Even Parking Ban, no parking will be allowed in cul-de-sacs until the snow has been plowed within the cul-de-sac. Cars not abiding by the ban are subject to a fine and/or towing at the owner’s expense.
