(Douglas County, NE) -- One person is dead following a single-vehicle in western Douglas County.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says around 10:45 Thursday night, deputies were called out to the area of 252nd and West Q Road for a crash. Investigators say a GMC truck left the roadway and struck a tree. DCSO says another driver spotted the truck speeding just before the crash.
The sheriff's office says the deceased driver has not been identified at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
