Investigators Look For Early Morning Fire Cause

The fire was in a one story house at 14th and Ellison Avenue in Omaha that was unsecured and vacant.

The first arriving engine company around 3:30 Tuesday morning reported heavy smoke with flames coming from the front.

The fire was centered on the main floor. There were no injuries in the fire that was brought under control in about ten minutes.

Omaha Fire investigators urge anyone with information to call the “Arson Hotline” at 402-444-FIRE, or "Omaha Crimestoppers" at 402-444-STOP.
