Omaha Police identify man killed in Monday morning shooting

Omaha Police have identified the city's latest homicide victim.

The Omaha Police Department says 38 year old Andrew Brown of Omaha was shot and killed early Monday morning at a motel in Southwest Omaha. Investigators say Brown just after 4:00 Monday morning at the Motel 6 near 109th and J. Brown was taken to CUMC-Bergan Mercy where he was pronounced dead.

WOWT 6 News reports that a lieutenant at the scene said that one person was arrested in connection with the shooting at a Bucky’s gas station off of 108th & L St.

The investigation is ongoing.
