Sheriff's Investigators say 52-year old Daniel Craig of Crescent was pronounced dead at the scene at Old Lincoln Highway and Sharon Drive, where a vehicle had struck a pole.
Deputies say Craig was the only person involved in the crash that happened early Monday evening.
"MidAmerican Energy" crews handled repairs and restored power to the area. The Crescent Fire Department also responded to the scene.
The investigation continues.
