Omaha Police say 22-year old Jumeez Sherman has died from injuries suffered in a shooting late Saturday afternoon near 24th and Emmet Streets.
Investigators say 21-year old Desmond Edwards suffered non-life threatening wounds.
Officers originally responded to that area after an activation by the "Shotspotter" technology, which indicated shots had been fired.
