Police look for suspects in robbery of South Omaha grocery store

Omaha Police are looking for two suspects they say robbed a South Omaha grocery store Wednesday night.

OPd says officers were called to the Aldi on Dahlman Avenue near L Street just after 7:30 p.m. for a reported robbery. Police say officers spoke with an employee who reported that two suspects entered the business, approached the counter and demanded money. Investigators say the employee reported that one suspect may have displayed a handgun. OPD says after taking cash the suspects fled from the area on foot.

The suspects are described as a man in his 30s, approximately 6 feet 1 inch tall, wearing a green coat and black beanie. The second suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, wearing a black and gray beanie, a black mask and athletic pants.
