Police say when officers arrived at 28th Ave. and Maple St. around four a.m. Thursday, they found 40-year-old Bounsong Oudomsack with numerous lacerations to his body.
Oudomsack told police he was involved in a argument at an unknown location with another man, who then attacked Oudomsack with a machete.
Omaha Fire paramedics took Oudomsack to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
