Omaha residents and business owners are being reminded to get the snow cleared off of their sidewalks following Tuesday's winter storm.
Omaha city code requires residential and commercial property owners to clear sidewalks within 24 hours after the city completes operations on the main and secondary streets. The city says those operations were completed around 6:00 Wednesday morning, meaning the snow needs to be cleared by 6:00 Thursday morning.
Snow should also be cleared from around fire hydrants and mailboxes. You can find more details here.
