Two suspects have been extradited back to Omaha to face charges in connection to the May death of a 15 year old boy.
On Tuesday, the Omaha Police Department said 19 year old Jose Ramos was booked into the Douglas County Corrections for Accessory to a Felony, Possession of Gun by a Prohibited Person and Tampering with Evidence.
Investigators say a 17 year old boy was booked into the Douglas County Youth Center for Manslaughter, 1st Degree Felony Assault, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony and Tampering with Evidence.
On May 11th, Omaha Police detectives were made aware of an abandoned vehicle in Wyoming that contained the body of 15 year old Manuel Gijon-Villa, from Omaha. Investigators say it was determined that Gijon-Villa was shot near 33rd and L streets in Omaha, died from his injuries and was then driven to Rawlins, Wyoming where the vehicle ran out of gas and was abandoned.
