A Council Bluffs man is dead following an early morning crash on I-480.
Omaha Police say around 1:30 Monday morning, officer were called out to a two vehicle crash on I-480 at Leavenworth. Police say a Chevy Malibu was southbound on I-480 when a Lincoln MK-Z, which investigators say was driving the wrong way (northbound in the southbound lanes), hit the Chevy nearly head on.
Investigators say the driver of the Chevy, 42 year old Ray Sutton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Lincoln, 23 year old Joshua Seaman, was transported to Nebraska Medicine in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
