A 13 year old is recovering after being shot early Monday morning.
Omaha Police say just before 1:00 Monday morning, officers were called to the Creighton University Medical Center- University Campus for a report of a shooting victim. OPD says investigators were able to determine that the shooting occurred at a home near Burdette and Florence Boulevard.
Police say the victim, 13 year old Goanar Wiw-Whol was transferred to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
