A press release put out by the Omaha Police Department says at 8:14 pm tonight, Officers responded to 1112 N. 48th Street for a shooting victim. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a male victim who had an apparent gunshot wound to his leg. The victim, Shawn McCormack, 38, advised he was in the area of Mandan Park when he saw a flash and realized he had been shot. There is no suspect information at this time.

Tips leading to an arrest of a shooting suspect are eligible for an enhanced reward of $10,000.
