It's time for the Thanksgiving-Christmas-New Year's Holiday Season traffic enforcement efforts.
The Omaha Police Traffic Unit is in one that's a nationwide “Click It or Ticket” campaign that started Monday and runs through Thanksgiving weekend.
It focuses on seatbelt and child restraint violations;
The Nebraska Office of Highway Safety has awarded $12,000 to fund extra Omaha traffic officers on the streets for that operation.
