The search is on for a suspect who stole $35,000 worth of medical supplies in Lincoln.
Lincoln Police say just before 8:00 Monday night, officers were called out for a report of a package theft from the 7800 block of S 97th Bay.
Investigators say the victim, a 34 year old man, reported that around 4:00 PM he left several packages near his garage to be picked up by Fed Ex. Police say around 4:20 PM, the Fed Ex driver arrived and asked for the packages, but they had gone missing. Investigators say the victim works for a spinal implant supply company and reported that roughly $35,000 in medical supplies were stolen.
Officers canvassed the area and requested video from neighbors. They say during the time frame of the theft, a red pickup with a ladder rack was seen driving in the area.
