Tuesday Results In Nebraska And Iowa Congressional Races

Nebraska Second District Congressman Don Bacon is elected to a third term. The Republican defeats Democratic challenger Kara Eastman in a rematch of the 2018 election.

Nebraska First District Congressman Jeff Fortenberry wins another term, defeating Democratic challenger Kate Bolz. The Republican Fortenberry has represented the First District since 2005.

Republican Adrian Smith will continue to represent Nebraska's Third District. Smith defeated Democratic challenger Mark Elworth Junior by a wide margin. Smith has served in Congress since 2007.

Nebraska Senator Ben Sasse is headed back to Washington for a second term. The Republican Sasse defeated Democratic challenger Chris Janicek.

In Iowa, Republican incumbent U.S. Senator Joni Ernst holds off a challenge from Democrat Theresa Greenfield.

Democratic U.S. Representative Cindy Axne of Iowa beats former GOP Representative David Young in a rematch for the Iowa District Three U.S. House seat.

Republican Randy Feenstra wins Iowa's Fourth District U.S. House seat defeating Democrat J.D. Scholten.

Joe Biden wins the electoral vote in Nebraska's Omaha Metro Second Congressional District.

President Trump picks up the other four.
