A 19 year old is left fighting for their life following a Thursday night shooting.
Omaha Police say just after 8:00 Thursday night, officers were called to the area of 33rd and Weber in Florence for a personal injury accident. Once officers arrived on scene, they found a vehicle off the roadway. Investigators say the driver of the vehicle, 19 year old Nomi Herrera, was found in the driver's seat suffering from a gunshot wound.
Herrera was transported to Nebraska Medicine for treatment of life threatening injuries.
