Although Halloween is shaping up to be very different this year, some local law enforcement agencies are teaming up to give kids an opportunity to safely trick or treat.
The Southwest Precinct of the Omaha Police Department is partnering with the Bellevue Police Department, Ralston Police Department, Douglas County Sheriff's Office and the Nebraska State Patrol for drive-thru trick or treating.
The drive-thru trick or treating event will be held at Seymour Smith Park from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday, October 25th. Those participating will start at the Harrison Street entrance of Seymour Smith Park and wind through the park collecting goodies. OPD says they will be handing out candy, showing off cruisers, motorcycles and their Mounted Patrol.
