Omaha Public Schools return to in-person learning

For the first time since Covid-19 took hold last March, some Omaha Public School students are back in the classroom Monday.

In a phased-in approach, the district brought back early childhood, elementary, middle and some other student populations under the "Family 3/2 Model" of staggered days depending on the first letter of family names.

Last names A through K will go to class Mondays and Tuesdays. L through Z: Thursdays and Fridays. The groups alternate on Wednesdays.
