A Close Call In Omaha Drive-By Shooting

Omaha Police say a man suffered non-life threatening injuries, and his one year old daughter was not hurt Wednesday night in a shooting near 35th and Hartman Avenue.

The 34-year old victim told investigators he was in his vehicle around eight o'clock when a dark-colored SUV pulled up next to him, and numerous rounds were fired into his car.

The toddler was seated in the back seat, uninjured.

The adult was taken to a hospital where it was determined his injuries were non-life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing.
