Some Douglas County polling place locations changed for November election

Polling place locations are changing for some Douglas County voters.

On Wednesday, Election Commissioner Brian W. Kruse said that voters whose polling place is changing for the November 3rd General Election will be notified this week. The election Commission says that yellow postcards will be mailed to roughly 10,000 voters in Douglas County to inform them of changes regarding their voting location.

The Commission says the changes were necessary due to some polling places not having availability, some precincts returning to their previous voting locations prior to the 2020 Primary Election and others due to COVID-19 concerns.

Voters wishing to verify their polling place may visit the Douglas County Election Commission website at www.votedouglascounty.com and enter their address information in the gray “Find Your Voting Information” box on the left side of the home page. Voters may also call (402) 444-VOTE (8683) to confirm their polling place.
