Kingdoms Of The Night Exhibit Reopens At Henry Doorly Zoo

If your headed to the Henry Doorly Zoo this weekend you'll find Mahoney Kingdoms of the Night open. The zoo reopened it on Friday. It's located under the Desert Dome

A spokesperson says there will also no longer be a limit on the number of visitors under the latest phase of Governor Ricketts' Directive Health Measures.

That means zoo members no longer have to reserve a time slot online. Masks are still required for visitors who are in buildings until at least October 20. The capacity of the zoo’s buildings will also be increased to 75%.

“Every step closer to normal is an optimistic moment for all of us,” says Dennis Pate, President and CEO of Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium. “But we also continue to take one careful step at a time and remain focused on the safety and health of our animals, visitors and Zoo staff.”

Masks are still required inside buildings until at least Oct. 20. Zoo officials also strongly encourage masks outdoors.
