Confiscated Animals Are Going Back To "Scatter Joy Acres"

Nebraska Humane Society officials say they will be returning nine animals taken from "Scatter Joy Acres" earlier this month over the questions of whether they were domestic or not, and if the facility met the criteria of being a "petting zoo."

All citations involving the City of Omaha in the case will be dropped.

“Following discussions among the City of Omaha, NHS, and Scatter Joy Acres, the nine non-domestic animals will be returned to "Scatter Joy Acres,” a Humane Society spokesperson said in a statement.
