Omaha Man Dies After Tuesday Night Shooting

Omaha Police have launched a murder investigation after a 31 year old man was shot to death Tuesday night.

Police say just after 8:00 p.m. they responded to a Shotspotter activation at 18th and Spencer. Officers found Tremayne Jennings suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.

Police say Jennings had struck a parked car and fence before coming to a stop. He was taken to Nebraska Medical Center where he later died.

The search is on for the person who pulled the trigger. Police ask Anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 444-STOP (7867).

Tips leading to the arrest of a homicide suspect are eligible for an enhanced reward of $25,000.
