Supporters of longtime Nebraska State Senator Ernie Chambers announce a Chambers write-in candidacy for the Douglas County Board of Commissioners in the November election.
Earlier this summer, there was an effort to gather signatures to place Chambers's name on the ballot, but the intitiative fell short of the required number.
The effort is called “People for Ernie Chambers Write in Campaign.”
The incumbent running for re-election in District 3 is Chris Rodgers.
