Police ask public for any information in string of coffee shop robberies

The Omaha Police Department is asking for the public's help with any information they may have about a recent string of armed robberies at Scooter's Coffee locations.

OPD says they believe that four robberies at Scooter's locations in recent weeks are related. The first robbery was at the Scooter's near 84th and Park Drive on August 29th. The second robbery occurred at the Scooter's near 75th and Pacific on September 7th.The next day, September 8th, the Scooter's location near 90th and Blondo was robbed. The latest robbery was on Thursday, September 10th, at the location near 145th and West Center.

Investigators say the suspect(s) are possibly driving a black, 90's model, Chevy pickup that is missing a tailgate, or a black Volkswagen Jetta. Police say one suspect is described as a white male, in his 30's, 5'9" to 6'1" tall and weighing 190-200 pounds, with a cross tattoo on the webbing between his right thumb and index finger.
